Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 7, 2026
This policy explains what information DreamPop World collects and how we use it. It covers this website, dreampopworld.com, and DreamPop Uploader, the tool our studio uses to upload our own episodes to YouTube. The short version: we don't collect personal information from visitors or viewers. DreamPop Uploader uses Google data only to upload our own videos to our own channel.
Who we are
DreamPop World is a small independent studio that makes animated shorts for kids and families and publishes them on YouTube. You can reach us at hello@dreampopworld.com.
This website
- The website has no accounts, no forms, no comments and no newsletter.
- It uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. It loads no scripts, fonts or images from other companies.
- The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. It does so under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We don't use this information to identify anyone.
Our YouTube channel
Our videos are on YouTube and are marked "made for kids". When you watch them, YouTube, not DreamPop World, handles any information about you, under the Google Privacy Policy. We never receive personal information about our viewers. YouTube shows us only overall statistics, such as how many times a video was watched.
DreamPop Uploader and Google user data
DreamPop Uploader is a studio tool that runs on our own computer. It's used only by the DreamPop World team to publish our own finished episodes to our own YouTube channel. It isn't offered to the public.
What it accesses
When we sign in with our channel's Google account, DreamPop Uploader asks for two YouTube permissions, through the YouTube Data API:
- Upload YouTube videos (
youtube.upload), to upload our finished episodes to our channel. - View the YouTube account (
youtube.readonly), to read our channel's name and to check our uploaded videos' processing status and privacy setting.
It asks for nothing else. It can't edit or delete videos. It doesn't read email, contacts or any other Google data, and it has no access to the people who watch our videos.
How it uses that data
Only to upload our own episodes, with the title, description and settings we wrote, and to confirm they were processed. Nothing else.
How it stores that data
- The sign-in token Google issues is stored only on our studio's computer, in a private file outside our code. It's never sent anywhere except to Google itself.
- We keep a simple upload log with our project files: the date, the YouTube video ID, the title and the privacy setting of each upload.
- No Google user data is stored on any server or in any database, and none of it is ever on this website.
How it shares that data
It doesn't. We don't sell, rent, share or transfer data from Google to anyone. We don't use it for advertising. We don't use it to develop, improve or train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Limited Use. DreamPop Uploader's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube API Services. DreamPop Uploader uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Removing access and deleting data
The account owner can remove DreamPop Uploader's access at any time on the Google security settings page, at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. When access is removed, the stored token stops working, and we delete it from our computer. To have entries in our upload log deleted, write to hello@dreampopworld.com. We'll delete them within 30 days.
Children
Our videos are made for children, but neither this website nor DreamPop Uploader collects personal information from anyone, children under 13 included. If you think a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
